This activity reinforced students' English skills, especially speaking and having the confidence to speak English to native speakers. Prior to the interviews, students drafted interview questions they would like to ask foreign tourists and practised asking the questions in pairs and with the NET and local English teachers. Once the class were comfortable with both the questions and possible answers, students travelled to Tsim Sha Tsui to interview tourists about their trips to Hong Kong. Students were able to step out of their comfort zone, actively participate in the interview task and have fun interacting with tourists from different parts of the world.
